What Fillout does better than Askwell
- The free plan: 1,000 responses a month.
- Payments, scheduling and PDF generation.
- Workflows connected to company databases, which Askwell does not have.
Askwell has no payments, signatures or file uploads, and no native link to Google Sheets, Notion or Airtable. “No badge”, custom domain and team members are announced for later.
What Askwell brings
- Blob follows up on vague answers
- Blob reads every free-text answer. If it is too short to be useful, it asks 1 or 2 follow-up questions. The respondent sees the label “Question added by Blob (AI)”.
- An A/B test against a control
- You try another wording of a question, one question at a time. 10% of visits stay on the original version; no winner is announced before a response threshold and 7 days.
- Readable pricing
- Free at €0 with 100 responses read by Blob a month, Pro at €24 a month (€20 billed yearly). VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French tax code.
- An import of your form
- Paste the public link of a Tally, Typeform, Google Forms or Microsoft Forms form: Askwell creates a draft.

Fillout generates a form from a description, a PDF or an existing form, and has an AI agent in the product. We did not find AI follow-ups on a respondent's answer.
